Chair of REFSALA, the Indian Library Association is organizing a REFSALA
Conference in India on October 22-23, 2015. The Executives meeting will also be
held during the Conference to be held at Indian Institute of Technology,
Roorkee, UK India

REFSALA Meeting at Colombo
2nd REFSALA (Regional Federation of South Asian
Library Associations) meeting was held on 7th October 2010 during the SLLA
Golden Jubilee Conference in Colombo. President/IFLA, Presidents in Library
Associations in Nepal, India, Pakistan, Maldives and Sri Lanka attended the
meeting with a Council member of Bangladesh Library Association. Sri Lanka was
unanimously elected as the chair of REFSALA for the next three year (2010-2013)
period. A new short term and long term plans for the forum was discussed and
agreed upon.
